KooBits Go: Ting Xie helps kids master their weekly dictation through interactive handwriting and sentence-level practice. This feature is available on the KooBits Parent App for those who have KooBits Chinese.
How to access
Ting Xie feature can be accessed via the KooBits Parent App. Here's how to access it:
- Login to your parent account in the KooBits Parent App. Click here for the guide.
- From the "Who's using KooBits" page, select your parent profile.
- Select KooBits Go then tap Ting Xie (听写).
Note: For parents with multiple kids registered and not all are subscribed to KooBits Chinese, click the drop-down option to select the child account with KooBits Chinese plan.
Key Features
- Handwriting mastery: Students can draw Chinese characters directly on the screen. This interactive practice builds muscle memory and reinforces correct stroke order.
- Sequential learning & rewards: Users follow the natural flow of words in a sentence. Correct answers trigger fun celebration animations, keeping students motivated and engaged.
- Test simulation: Practice writing long, complex sentences to simulate a real classroom environment. This prepares students for the stamina and accuracy needed during actual school tests.
How to access the dictation lists from the MOE syllabus
- From the Ting Xie page on the Parent App, go to MOE Syllabus.
- Tap the level and the list you prefer for practice.
- Click "Test mode" to get started.
How to create a new list
- From the Ting Xie page on the Parent App, go to My List.
- Tap the "Scan in new list" or "Scan words list".
- Once you have added your words and finalized the list, tap “Save”.
- Click "Test mode" to get started.
