If you are having trouble logging in to the child’s account, follow this guide to troubleshoot or reset the password.
Troubleshooting: "Wrong Password"
Before resetting, please check these common issues:
- Spelling & Spacing: Ensure there are no extra spaces at the beginning, middle, or end of the password.
- Case Sensitivity: KooBits passwords are NOT case-sensitive. You can use lowercase or uppercase letters.
- Visibility: Tap the Show icon next to the password field to see exactly what you have typed.
Resetting Your Child’s Password
Option 1: Use the "Forgot Password?" Link
If a login attempt fails, a "Forgot password?" link will appear below the password field. Click this to receive a reset link via your registered parent email.
Option 2: Use the KooBits Parent App
You can instantly change your child’s password from your mobile device:
Note: The KooBits Parent App is applicable for Premium users only whereby the parent account was provided in the welcome email.
- Log in to the parent account on the KooBits Parent App.
- Tap the menu (three lines) in the top-right corner.
- Select "Edit/Link Child", then tap the pen icon beside your child's name.
- Under the Password section, tap Reset to enter and confirm a new password.
Option 3: Manual Request (if the options above do not work)
- School Plan users: Please contact your child's school teacher. The teacher can help reset student passwords via the teacher portal.
