Whether you want to add a new subject to your child's learning journey or align different subscription end dates, KooBits makes it simple to bundle your plans into a single subscription.
How to add a subject and sync expiry dates
- Log in to your parent account at member.koobits.com. Your parent ID is the same as your registered email address
(Need help logging in? See the Forgot Parent Account Password guide). - Select your child's subscription profile.
- Select the new subject you wish to add OR select the subject with the nearest end date and click Upgrade.
- Complete the checkout process.
What happens upon upgrade?
- New 1-year Bundle plan: A new multi-subject bundle subscription starts on your payment date and remains valid for one full year. All subjects will have one expiry date.
- Automatic proration offset: The remaining value of any unused time on your previous active subscription(s) is automatically deducted during payment as a discount off your new bundle price.
How Unused Subscription Value is Calculated
To ensure fairness, KooBits automatically calculates the exact daily value of your unused subscription days up to the minute you upgrade.
The general formula to calculate the value of the unused amount* of the subscription is:
Amount paid for annual subscription previously (excluding tax paid) / 365 days [x (number of unused days)]
Notes:
- The value of the unused amount is not a fixed amount and will vary every few hours.
- If you previously had an unused amount offset in your previous purchase, the value of the unused amount for your new purchase will also include this previous unused amount as well.
For example, you are 3 months into your 1-year Math subscription and decide to add Science:
- We calculate the value of the 9 months you haven't used yet.
- This "unused value" is deducted from the price of your new Math + Science bundle.
- After checkout, both your Math and Science subscriptions will become a Bundle plan with the same expiry date.
